WOMEN´S COMMUNITY VOICES

“Creation, strengthening and coordination of Community Radios with gender perspective in Stung Treng and Kratie” is a project between the Andalusian Solidarity Development Association (ASAD) and Women’s Media Centre of Cambodia (WMC), funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).

 

This project began in December 2010 and aims at establishing communities radios with a gender perspective in the provinces of Kratie and Stung Treng.

 

These efforts aim to improve the living conditions of women in targeted areas through increasing access to full exercise of their civil rights and freedoms, improving women access to the right of communication through community radios. 

 

Women' Community Voices association was created in February 2014 and merges Women's Radio Kratie and Women's Radio Stung Treng.
